Meal Applications

We encourage families with students enrolled in the schools listed below to complete a free or reduced-price meal application. 

Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s: Baldwin, Baranoff, Barton Hills, Bear Creek, Becker, Brentwood, Bryker Woods, Casis, Clayton, Cowan, Davis, Doss, Gullett, Highland Park, Hill, Kiker, Lee, Maplewood, Mathews, Mills, Patton, Reilly, Ridgetop, Summit, Sunset Valley, Zilker 

Middle SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s: Bailey, Gorzycki, Kealing, Lamar, Murchison, O. Henry, Small

High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s: Anderson, SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, Bowie, LASA, McCallum

Other Campuses: Ann Richards SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ for Young Women Leaders

If your student's school is not listed above, they automatically receive free meals without any application or documentation through a program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). 

Meal Application Information

• SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ ISD works with local agencies to identify all children who are categorically and program eligible for meal benefits through state funded programs and will notify the households of these children that they do not need to complete an application.  
• Only one application is needed for an entire household.
• Families must complete a new application each school year.
• The outcome of the application is determined by household size and income; please include all household members to ensure accurate eligibility. 
• SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ ISD follows the  to determine if a student is eligible for free or reduced-price meals. 
• Students are permitted to receive meal benefits based on last year’s meal status only until October 1, 2024 or until a new meal application has been processed. 

How to Apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals

Breakfast:

• Middle & High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ - Paid: $2.00
• All Levels - Reduced-Price: FREE
• Adult/Guest: $3.50

Lunch:

• Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ - Paid: $3.25
• Middle & High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ - Paid: $3.50
• All Levels - Reduced-Price: $0.40
• Adult/Guest: $5.00

Caregivers may set à la carte restrictions on their SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½Café account.

Paying for SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Meals

Students dining with a reduced-price or paid status may purchase meals using cash or funds on their SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½Café account. No funds are needed for students with a free meal status, unless they would like to purchase à la carte items.

  • Please note that SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½Café charges a convenience fee to process online payments. 
• We accept cash, money orders, or cashier's checks in the cafeteria daily 7 a.m.-2 p.m..
