It’s Never Too Early

Early College Prep in middle school prepares students for academic challenges of college through rigorous academic coursework and high school credit classes in a supportive, college-focused environment. Students are exposed to information about various colleges, and they explore the admissions and financial aid processes.

Early College Prep Middle SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s feed into an AISD Early College High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, and students are prepared to successfully take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment at the end of the eighth grade to determine their level of readiness for college-level coursework.

SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ ISD offers Early College Prep Middle SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ programs at four campuses: Bertha Sadler Means Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Dobie Middle SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy and Webb Middle SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½.
