At last night’s regular board meeting, the board appointed Michelle Amezquita-Navarro to serve as the principal of Travis Heights Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½.

Amezquita-Navarro most recently served as the assistant principal at Oak Hill Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. She previously worked as assistant principal at Clayton Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and a teacher at Metz Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½.

Amezquita-Navarro has a bachelor’s degree in applied learning and development from the University of Texas at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and a master’s degree in education and administration from Concordia University.
