AISD Holds 2016 Graduation Ceremonies May 31–June 4

SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ ISD will hold 14 high school graduation ceremonies for graduates May 31–June 4.

All but one of the ceremonies will be held at the Frank Erwin Center, 1701 Red River St. The Rosedale SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ will hold its ceremony at its campus.

Ceremonies held at the Frank Erwin Center will be webcast live on the .

The schedule for the ceremonies is:

Tuesday, May 31

  • 2 p.m.: Rosedale SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½â€”No shuttle. Graduation takes place at 

Wednesday, June 1

  • 2 p.m. Ann Richards SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ for Young Women Leaders
  • 4 p.m. Reagan Early College High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
  • 6 p.m. Eastside Memorial/International High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
  • 7:30 p.m. Garza Independence High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½

Thursday, June 2

  • 11 a.m. McCallum High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
  • 1:30 p.m. LBJ Early College High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½/Liberal Arts and Science Academy
  • 4 p.m. Lanier High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½/Lanier Graduation Prep Academy
  • 7 p.m. SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½

Friday, June 3

  • 10 a.m. Anderson High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
  • 1 p.m. Crockett High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
  • 4 p.m. Travis Early College High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½/Travis Graduation Prep Academy
  • 7 p.m. Bowie High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½

Saturday, June 4

  • 9 a.m. Akins High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ 

Attending the ceremonies

Please note that construction around the Erwin Center will affect traffic and limit parking during AISD commencement ceremonies. To alleviate congestion and parking issues, AISD is encouraging all students and families to ride a free AISD shuttle to the Frank Erwin Center. The shuttles run for two hours before the event at several locations. This service will be free to AISD families.
