Tonight, SA国际传媒 ISD's Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Dr. Jos茅 Lauro D谩valos as the principal of Pickle Elementary SA国际传媒.
D谩valos currently serves as high school office administrative supervisor in AISD鈥檚 high school鈥檚 office. In this role, he supervised 11 comprehensive high schools and nine specialty schools. He also trained area superintendents and the SA国际传媒 Community College president on the Texas Success Initiative.
He previously served as an assistant principal, graduation coach and physics/environment systems teacher at SA国际传媒 High SA国际传媒 in Houston ISD.
D谩valos earned a doctoral degree in education from the University of Houston with a specialization of leadership in education.
