SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, TX—The SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Independent SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ District is going to new heights to celebrate Youth Art Month. Julia Lund, a student artist at Bowie High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, will sign the billboard she designed, which is located in the 1100 block of South Lamar Blvd. The SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Fire Department will provide a ladder truck with a bucket to raise Julia and her teacher, Martha Anne Kuntz, up to the billboard. The billboard is sponsored by A+ Federal Credit Union and Reagan National Advertising, Inc.
What: Dr. Meria Carstarphen, AISD Superintendent, will join Martha Anne Kuntz, Bowie High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ teacher, and Julia Lund, Bowie High SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ student artist at a ceremony for signing student-designed billboard.
