Background:

In an effort to better provide high-quality instruction and academic opportunities for all SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½-area students, SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Independent SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ District and charter schools have come together to form the SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ District-Charter Collaboration Compact. The SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Compact is comprised of the following area public school leaders: SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Independent SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ District, Eden Park Academy, Harmony Public SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s, IDEA Public SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s, KIPP SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Public SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s, NYOS Charter SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, Responsive Education Solutions, and UT Elementary SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. Additionally, education nonprofits Educate Texas and the Texas Charter SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½s Association are members. This collaboration represents an unprecedented public commitment on the part of SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ ISD and charter operators to work together in a spirit of innovation and stewardship to ensure that all students in SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ graduate from high school prepared to succeed in college, career and life.
